Over the past decade, we've had the opportunity to assist a wide array of projects spanning multiple diverse industries. We are proud to share the highlights of our favorite projects with you.
One of our first projects for small-scale NEPA was the donation of time and expertise to help the Southwest Wildlife Foundation obtain the necessary permits and authorizations for the construction of an Information Destination center at their nature park. This may have been a small project, only needing an Environmental Study (CX) and related county permits, but the knowledge of helping such a worthwhile organization was something that stayed with our company for many years, and inspired the company's founder to dedicate a percentage of each year's employee hours on project donations similar to this.
Throughout 2017, 2018, and 2019, our company performed project scoping, Phase 1 & 2 environmental site assessments, and prepared site selection checklists for over 15,000 acres of prospective utility-scale solar developments spanning Utah, Arizona, and New Mexico. Many of these projects have since moved to the engineering and construction stage by solar entities and power suppliers such as Solimar Power Partners and PacifiCorp.
While the world held its breath, waiting for the pandemic to pass, ADT E&M consultants safely traveled to various remote regions of Nevada, Idaho, Utah, Arizona, and New Mexico to perform project due diligence on existing brownfield operations. From tungston process plants, historic iron mines, to gold and silver operations; our company visited these remote sites on behalf of our clients. We performed thorough reviews and prepared technical reports and market valuations to support investments, transactions, and in some cases re-start of operations.
Continuing with our work in project due diligence, during 2021 ADT E&M focused on helping clients scope out and develop business plans for known geothermal targets in Utah and Nevada. Teaming up with expert exploration geologists and engineers specializing in fluid dynamics, our company assisted with moving projects through pre-feasibility and closer toward project development.
In 2022 ADT E&M was awarded as the project lead for a large-scale environmental permitting effort on a greenfield multi-target gold prospect bordering Utah and Nevada. During 2022 our team spent the spring, summer, and fall months performing field sampling for surface water, soil, and vegetative characteristics. 2023 entailed report writing, further data collection, and participation in agency meetings to progress the prospect through the pre-NEPA phase and toward final permitting. The prospect was put on hold in 2024, but with surging gold prices, 2025 may see a restart of the pre-NEPA process.
In 2024 our company teamed with ecologists and hydrologists to help find solutions for revegetation success on disturbed lands. Through the use of thermal drone technology, ADT E&M was able to map large areas to determine where there were imbalances in soil moisture that may affect seed germination. ADT E&M also created test plots on the company's 17-acre property in southwest Colorado to test different reclamation techniques. These plots will be monitored throughout 2025.
